Lunch Money by Andrew Clements
Lunch Money is an extremely interesting book about a kid named Greg Kenton who is a moneymaker and talented at pretty much everything. Greg and his neighbor Maura Shaw work together to make money. But it turns out they can’t sell things at school. Eventually it all works out and they give 50% of all their profits to the school. I give the book 5 stars.

The Sisters Grimm: The Fairy Tale Detectives by Michael Buckley
The Sisters Grimm is set in Ferryport Landing. Two sisters, Sabrina and Daphne Grimm, go to live with the “dead” Grandma. Sabrina and Daphne are told by their Grandma that fairy tales are real and they are trapped in Ferryport Landing. Relda Grimm (their grandma) and Mr. Canis (Relda’s close friend) are taken by a giant. Sabrina and Daphne go on an adventure with their friends to save Mr. Canis and Grandma Grimm. I give the book 4 1/2 stars.

The BFG by Roald Dahl
In THE BFG, a little orphan named Sophie is taken away by the BFG. She’s told that every night nine terrible giants go and gobble human beings. The BFG was a dream collector and Sophie said that they had to alert the Queen of England about the giants. So, the BFG made a dream about the giants and Sophie. At the end of the dream, Sophie was sitting on the queen’s window sill. When the queen woke up, Sophie was there! Sophie explained and the queen understood. Then the giants were captured. I give the book 4 ½ stars.

Little House in the Big Woods by Laura Ingalls Wilder
This book is about a family that lives in the Big Woods. In the family there is: Pa, Ma, Mary, Laura and Carrie. Mary is a big older than Laura. When winter nears, Pa stores food in the attic. Laura and Mary play among the pumpkins in the attic. On Christmas, Laura gets a pair of beautiful red mittens and a doll. She names the doll Charlotte. Later Laura and her family go to town and the person who owns the store they went to says Mary’s hair is beautiful. Laura gets angry and slaps Mary when Mary brought it up later. I give the book 5 stars.

The BFG by Roald Dahl
BFG is about an orphan named Sophie who is taken to a magical place called Giant Country where there are man-gobbling giants: Fleshlumpeater, Child Chewer, Bonecruncher, Manhugger, Meatdripper, Maidmasher, Gizzardgobbler, Bloodbottler and Butcher Boy. In Giant Country, there is another country called Dream Country. Dream Country is where dreams roam free. Some are good like phizzwizards but some are bad like trogglehumpers.
Sophie has an idea to stop all nine giants. The plan is for the Queen of England to dream about everything but before she dreams about a girl sitting on the windowsill then she wakes up and Sophie is on the windowsill and the BFG comes out behind the trees and bows to his "Majester". Then the Queen sends the air force and captures all the giants and puts them in a hole only to live on snozzcumbers for the rest of their lives.
"It's a real page turner," according to Michael Elliot of the New York Times. I think a lot of younger readers would enjoy this book too.
