In STEAM we posed a challenge to the students--can you share your answer to the big question through model work? Can you lead your audience to infer the answer from your model work? This idea came to the Thunder and Lightning teachers because students often say, "and the answer to the big question is...." In the last STEAM cycle though we saw one group weaving the answer in their sharing hoping that the student audience would get it and we thought other student groups should give it a try.
Since we'd like to give the students time to really "read" the models their peers create, we are going to change how the sharing is done. Student groups will share over three days. Students have been learning about storytelling and will be sharing a story during this time as well. See the list below to know which day your child will be sharing. Sharing time is from 1:20-2:15.
