Last Notes about Camp Bernie
It's almost time for the trip and it looks like we are going to have lovely fall-like weather. We have a few notes to pass along:
1. Make sure you have completed the three forms.
2. Shorts are allowed on the trip, but also pack a pair of pants for the evening activities.
3. Students may bring a book, a small stuffed animal, water bottle, and two snacks in their backpack. A student asked about bringing a MadLibs...that's fine. We will have games and activities for the bus ride.
About Thursday morning:
1. The bus is scheduled to leave at 8:35. Please be prompt.
2. Students will drop their luggage and sleeping bag/pillow in the mezzanine area of the gym. The sleeping bag/pillow should be in a garbage bag together. Make sure both items are labeled with their last name. (There will be taping stations in the gym)
3. Any meds should come with dosage instructions in a plastic baggie, and will be handed off to the medic.
4. Students will bring their bus items (backpack, coat, etc) with them to the room.
5. Parents will say goodbye in the gym.
About Friday afternoon:
1. We will keep you posted about arrival times. We hope to arrive by dismissal.
2. Luggage will be unloaded off the bus at arrival so you can gather your child and their things at the same time.
3. Please make sure your child says goodbye to the teachers when leaving.
