The First Weeks
Much happens in a Mustard Seed classroom in the first weeks. Very intentional decisions and language are used by the teachers to help students learn procedures and processes that will help them to be successful students and community members. From the time spent at the Meet and Greet to working on engineering projects in STEAM, our community is building--a set of systems, procedures, relationships. As the days progress, we will continue to build upon what we already know, and grow into the community we hope to be.

Ms. Emma shares a read aloud story where we learn to be good listeners, are exposed to rich vocabulary, and laugh together at funny retellings of familiar stories.
